The things people ask before booking.
Is the trial really free?
Yes, 30 minutes, no card and no obligation. If it is not the right fit we will say so and suggest somewhere else.
What age can children start?
Five for piano and violin, eight for guitar, twelve for singing. Earlier is possible but the first term is mostly listening and rhythm games.
Do we need an instrument at home?
From week one, yes - practice needs a piano or guitar at home. We lend instruments for the first month and help you buy after that.
Can adults start from zero?
Most of our students are adults who never played. The method is the same, the repertoire is different.
Do you prepare for ABRSM or Trinity?
Yes, grades 1-8, and theory. We also teach students who never want an exam.
How long is a lesson?
30, 45 or 60 minutes. Children under eight do better with 30.
What if we miss a lesson?
With 24 hours notice we offer a make-up slot in the same month. Same-day cancellations are charged.
Can parents sit in?
First lesson and the last five minutes, yes. The rest of the time, the waiting corner has coffee.
Is there parking?
Street parking on Kantstraße after 18:00, and the U-Bahn is four minutes away.
What languages do you teach in?
German and English, both fluently. Some teachers also teach in Spanish and Polish.
