Four teachers, four rooms, about 120 students a year. We could grow faster; we would rather know everyone’s name.
The studio opened in 2007 above a bike shop in Charlottenburg and moved to Kantstraße in 2019. The pianos are older than the lease and sound better than most new ones.
Sound first
Rhythm and ear before notation. Children who start with symbols often read well and listen badly.
No pressure performances
Two informal concerts a year. Optional. Nobody is graded on stage fright.
Honest advice
We will tell you when a cheaper instrument is fine, and when it will cost you a term of bad habits.
